Flowers in the wind

A very blustery morning, after last night's heavy rain. Blue sky, white cloud. Spent a pleasant hour failing to photograph hollyhocks, which were blowing about wildly in Holme Garden. Then did a quick tour round the nursery, where I failed to find any really interesting plants, and end up buying some geraniums.

I think the nursery has been trying to source as many plants as possibly from the UK this year, because the new border checks for plants imported from the EU have come into force, and things are (who would have guessed?) not running smoothly. But there doesn't seem to be anything like the normal range of choice this year - just lots of petunias and geraniums.
