Dusking 4

Strange weather. A grey fog hanging round the edges of things all day, smoke-like, but not smelling of smoke. As I was driving home, the sun, seen through the fog, was pale as the moon. Of course, by the time I got home and rushed out with the camera, the sun had vanished. No sunset at all. So I wandered round the forest practising the art of dusking.

I had to drop a birthday card off in Wareham, so took a wander round the streets to enjoy the Christmas lights. Wareham is surprisingly sinister by night for a small market town...

Night Boat to Studland 2

I was offered a free ticket to one of the Thursday evening pleasure boat cruises around Poole Harbour. The weather was not good - windy and wet - but who cares? I put on my winter coat and my sweater, and my waterproof trousers. Grabbed the secondhand Pentax, my wet weather camera.
