The tiny hamlet of Southover, across the river and the fields.
From Frampton, if you wander across the Samways Bridge, and down a little lane, and turn right, you come to a scattering of barns and cottages: Southover.

Lots of interesting bridleways leading off into the countryside. I must come back and explore when the fields are a bit softer underfoot.

Southover House. Mid 17th century with 19th century additions.
Past the cottages, the lane dwindles to gravel track, and the gravel track passes into the green shade of Wildwoods Nature Reserve:
