The old year dwindles
To short dark days, wind and rain
And robins singing

Yes, I know it's Saturday. The wind had dropped enough for a walk in the forest this morning. Grey skies. Rain rippling the surface of the puddles. Met a gentleman in a red raincoat, walking a black dog in a green raincoat. We started off complaining about the weather in the English fashion before admitting that, actually, it wasn't bad weather at all, much nicer than the freezing weather we had a few weeks ago.

No photos. Even if I wanted to risk taking the camera out in the rain, there's no daylight for photography. In this weather you need to be an artist.
