It seems to be a good year for apples, judging by the apple trees in the gardens I visited on Thursday.
It has been quite chilly on my morning walks this week. A welcome hint of autumn in the air. Though I see that the temperatures are supposed to be rising again next week.
It has been wonderfully chilly in the mornings this last week. But I don't think autumn is quite here yet. Looks like we are in for another heatwave (for a UK value of heatwave = maybe 30 degrees C) next week.
I look forward to September and October, when it cools down here, so much. A summer that goes on and on and on... It sounds unbearable.
