Last time I visited the Secret Garden, the withy tunnels in the Stumpery were only a weaving of near-bare branches.

Look at them now:

The Stumpery is still very much a work in progress, but there are now newly-planted cranesbills flowering in the beds - lovely delicate pale pink and white varieties.


A new plant to me, but helpfully labelled: Greek Mountain Tea (Sideritis syriaca).
