Blackbirds & thrushes

4 degrees C. A light icy drizzle in the air. A very dark, grey morning. Blackbirds and thrushes busy feeding on the ornamental crab apples which are the only colour in the village.

Met the Poodle Twins out in the forest. They were always Max's mortal enemies, to be avoided when seen in the distance, but these days I can stop and chat with their owner about how the years fly by, measured in the lives of dogs.
