Townsend Reserve
May. 9th, 2022 05:31 pmYesterday, warm sunshine and a cool wind. Took a wander through the Townsend Nature Reserve, a disused quarry on the outskirts of Swanage, and up through the wild flower meadows at Durlston.

One of three black cobs who graze the reserve.

On the banks of the old quarry, buttercups and cowslips and early purple orchids.

Cowslips above the sea.

Swanage.

Field forgetmenots growing in amongst the tall grass, down in the dips.
