How fabulous! I really hope that one day we can see red kites in those sort of numbers round here.
I can remember back when common buzzards used to be persecuted, and were a rare sight here. Since they've been protected, their numbers have recovered amazingly, and they are everywhere here. I hope the same thing can happen with the kites.
