Irises & Alliums, Holme Gardens

The rain stopped, and the wind dropped. So I went to Holme to photograph flowers...













In Holme, hardy geraniums, lupins and California poppies now in flower, and the roses and the foxgloves thinking about coming into flower.

At the garden centre, bought four bags of peat-free compost, ready to plant up containers for the summer. At home, emptied one pot of gone-over tulips. (One pot down, seven to go... At this time of year, I repent me of the whole Spring Tulip Extravaganza thing).
