Wareham by Night
Dec. 17th, 2024 07:41 pmI had to drop a birthday card off in Wareham, so took a wander round the streets to enjoy the Christmas lights. Wareham is surprisingly sinister by night for a small market town...

With apologies to those of a nervous disposition.

It feels like the Christmas lights might be fighting a losing battle against the gloom this year.

FRYING FISH & CHIPS.
The streets very busy at half past six, with families buying takeaways. A very large family group, including a nan, were waiting at the pedestrian crossing for the little green man to appear, with the nan insisting on pressing the button repeatedly because "it makes the lights change faster". Yes, Nan.

The Red Lion Hotel, currently under redevelopment, transformed for the annual visit of Santa to the town.
