The Walled Garden again

Bistort.
I know I said I wasn't going back to the Walled Garden, and that it was too expensive now... but with things being the way they are, it's hard not to think, damn it, the world is ending, I should visit gardens while I can.
And it's wisteria season, and the Walled Garden has a fabulous path lined with wisteria.

Iris and clematis season, too:

Cercis siliquastrum.

In the woodland garden:

Cornus kousa.

The air full of willow seeds.

The rhododendrons in full flower.

Thalictrum.

A complete mystery, this one. I can't even begin to guess.

Acer.

Gunnera.
Sat for a while on a low brick wall, admiring the work on the Bog Garden - they are lowering the level of the ground, to make the bog garden boggier, and introducing interesting new plants.

Camassia, I think?
