A very slow Max, yesterday, lagging behind all the way. I think his arthritis is playing up. It may be time for another visit to the V.E.T.

Yes, the paths through the plantations of young conifers are very dark, very silent. But also very sheltered from the cold wind! Quite pleasant paths to take in winter.

Yes, I am sure they feel very peaceful and so quiet. One could really reflect on a walk like that.
