Signs of Spring

There are primroses appearing along the lanes. In gardens in the town, magnolias are starting to flower. Four jackdaws have gathered round my neighbour's chimney pot, with the beady demeanour of little estate agents in black suits.

Primroses flower wild all along the lanes here. I shall have to go out looking for some, if the weather is kind this weekend.
