Spring

A dunnock is singing in the back garden, and in their pots the daffodils have decided to start growing vigourously. This morning I cleared the top shelf of the kitchen cupboard of out-of-date things. (Forensic evidence suggests I have not done this since 2017).

I had never heard of dunnocks before, so I googled them--what sweet birds!

Good on you, getting rid of mace or Sichuan pepper from 2017. Fresh stuff will be better.
