I simply cannot conceive of rain in September. Nope. It seems physically impossible.

September here is usually quite a gentle, sunny month. Not this year. We have had torrential rain off and on all day today.

It was a pretty impressive rain storm. But I managed to get to the shops in Langport before it arrived, so I was sat there in the car with a coffee and a Chelsea bun from the bakery, enjoying the spectacle.

Okay I won't lie, I got scared seeing this! D: Rain + traffic = Slippery

We're used to driving in the rain in this country, but even so, the rain has been so heavy the past few weeks that I've seen quite a few cars that have skidded off into the scenery.
