Yes! I've tried subtle planting schemes with tulips in the past - yellows and whites, pastel pinks - but it is the deep coloured ones I love the best...

Yes. I get a thrill every year just from planting bulbs in November, bought randomly by name, and seeing what appears in spring... Working on creating new varieties must be so exciting.
