A path from Nothing to Nowhere

I went back to Folly, this time with a camera that worked...

Once again, along the track from Folly Farm, Wild Garlic scenting the way.

Once again, onto the sunken bridleway with Cowslips and Early Purple Orchids flowering on the banks.

But as for yesterday's views across the Blackmore Vale...

Nope. Instead I got to follow a path from Nothing to Nowhere.

But the wrens and the warblers were singing in the hillside scrub, hymns to the world that once existed.

And the dew on the grasses was very beautiful. (Also, very wet. But that's okay. It wasn't as if my boots had dried out from yesterday, anyway...)

And the Crab Apple is in blossom.
To one side of the way, glimpses of a forbidden realm:

"Whose woods these are I think I know..."

I didn't venture into the bluebell woods this time.
The fog began to lift, and I lost the footpath. I was about to turn back and retrace my steps when I encountered a kindly local being who told me how to find the stile. He was tall and his hair was white, and he went running lightly over the fields of ankle-turning flint nodules.

Wild Garlic along the lane to Plush.

Yes, I photograph this house name every time I pass. Why do you ask?
