Daffodil time
Apr. 6th, 2025 11:15 amEvery autumn, I order narcissus and tulip bulbs, somewhat randomly. Plant the bulbs. Forget what bulbs I have planted. And every spring, I am surprised by what pops up.
This year's narcissus are:

Narcissus 'Sinopel'. (I've read that the corolla of 'Sinopel' changes colour from yellow to green in warm weather, but if this is true, it is simply not warm enough here...)

Narcissus 'Pipit'.

Narcissus 'Thalia'.

And Narcissus 'Mondragon', which is startling, but not a surprise. It's so spectacular, I've ordered the bulbs two years in a row.
