March gardens

Yesterday, a high-speed walk round the gardens at Holme, between the showers, snatching photos. The grassy paths through the gardens are still soft underfoot, and a couple of the gardens are still roped off for winter. But the hyacinths and the daffodils are in flower, the first pink blossoms are appearing on the cherry trees, and the first flowers on the magnolia.












The Corkscrew Hazel, which I photograph every time I visit, because who can resist such twistiness?
